Our Technology

We engineer ECM-specific, nanobody-based binders that transform the extracellular matrix from a physical barrier into a high-retention drug depot — turning the tumor’s own architecture into a therapeutic advantage.

Our binders deliver payloads to the tumor matrix adjacent to the tumor cells.

Our lead asset is an ECM-Targeted Radiopharmaceutical

Targeted radiopharmaceuticals use a binder to bring a therapeutic radiation payload to a target with close proximity to tumor cells, where it can cause DNA damage that kills rapidly dividing cells.

Target:

The ECM offers a unique, yet underexplored, set of targets that are ideal for delivering radiopharmaceuticals: abundant, selective, and stable.

Binder:

Matrisome Bio’s nanobody-based toolbox enables creation of targeting binders with precise delivery, tunable pharmacokinetics and clearance, and optimal persistence at the tumor site.

Payload:

Our binder and targets are payload-agnostic, allowing use of the most appropriate radioisotope for a given situation.

The result is targeted radiopharmaceuticals whose precision, payload, and persistence uniquely match the biology of the disease being targeted.

Platform capabilities

Beyond radiopharmaceuticals, our ECM-targeting strategy enables a broader pipeline of payload-agnostic applications, including antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs), immunomodulatory payloads, and fibrosis-targeted therapeutics.
